  1. I just saw the movie, ant it is quite abysmal… It feels and looks like a children's movie, not a family movie, and after 15 minutes, even kids will probably think it is booooring… Small scenes here and there are a little fun, overall it must be one of the worst movies of 2022.

  2. I enjoyed watching this reboot / origins. I knew immediately when I found out the PG rating that this wouldn't be serious and was able to go in without much expectation. I enjoyed Herman and The Count. I thought The Count was the strongest character. I didn't really feel much for Lily. I feel like it is easy for me to separate the original cast from this movie. I feel like the ending fell flat. Out of 10 I'd give it a 6.

  3. you're forgetting you're 31 31 was a phenomenal movie too and I absolutely loved his take of Michael Myers both movies were accidentally done better than any of the sequels that have come out now and to be completely honest it was my two favorite Michael Myers movies of all time The Devil's Rejects wanted to were amazing and the third one was a little it just didn't have Sid Haze I still think it was a phenomenal movie it just wasn't as good as the other two and the bottom line it was missing Captain Spaulding but it's hard to make three movies and still capture the magic of the first two or even the first one for that matter the only movie he ever did but I didn't care for it was Lords of Salem I thought it had a good story I just think the execution was so bad even for a b rated movie it was bad and honestly after watching the trailer I didn't expect this movie to be any good because he just tried way too hard if you would have just left it black and white instead of trying to saturate it with Technicolor from a crtv point of view it probably would have been better received because I know when I saw the black and white trailer I was hoping that the whole movie was like that

  4. So far the best movie of 2022, is the movie. NOPE, the science fiction movie, great movie, still awaiting for another, great science fiction movie,we need 15, science fiction movies this year, and every year alongside horrors movie's.
Could you guys have Michael Myers go against. Jason of crsytial lake.

  5. I couldn't have said it better myself, Chris. For someone that claims to be a massive Munsters fan, Zombie delivered a weak product that failed to capture the spirit of the original series.

  6. I tried to watch it but it was so bad I had to turn it off. I couldn’t find any redeeming qualities to this movie at all. I have loved The Munsters all my life and it’s almost offensive seeing what Rob Zombie has done to it. Reminds me of Kim Kardashian wearing and ruining Marylin Monroe’s iconic happy birthday dress. Why take something that is so beloved to so many and basically crap all over it?

  7. I enjoyed the movie was entertaining and funny..the voices kind of sounded like Scooby Doo shaggy and Thelma but I enjoyed it. It was way different from his gory splatter movies m.

  8. Rob needs to quit having his wife Sheri Moon act in anything. She is awful. She is a talentless ditz that can't act in any capacity. She ruined the The Devils Rejects in every scene she was in. The movie was lifeless. Bad acting all around.

  9. NOBODY was asking for a Munsters prequel. The Munsters was never about the love affair between Herman and Lily, the Addams Family was more about Morticia and Gomez's love. Also, they should have filmed this in black and white.

  10. Zombie cannot direct. Unless it’s carnies talking about perverse shit, he just can’t hack it. Devils rejects was good bc of the performances, H1000C is fairly good, but 31, Halloween and 3 From Hell are awful. He was supposed to do a broadsheet bullies movie years ago, but couldn’t get funding bc the studios know he can only do his version of horror.

  11. You're a adult and when you hear a adult say cringe or cringy… It makes you sound like a annoying teenager. Especially when it's said over and over again and again. It's as bad as The Munsters itself. Aside from that, you're opinion on the film itself was good.

  12. I know Rob and Sheri say they're fans, but watching this movie, I have to wonder why; or what about it are they a fan of ? It wasn't the utter shitshow that I was expecting it to be, and I think, with better scripting and directing, they could have pulled it off. The problems – well, among the problems are that she's not the actress that either of them thinks she is, and he can't write comedy for sour apples. And neither of them seems to "get" what makes The Munsters work. Phillips, with some coaching, could have done a respectable job – but so many bad choices were made, behind the camera. But that seems to be the case with so much that's wrong here. Those adolescent vocal breaks added nothing to the character…

This reply is turning into a rant. Basically, we agree, and I am more disappointed than angry.
